Mozart's dramatic piano concerto is one of his most known concertos. It is performed by the British-American Maggie Cole, who is Professor at the Guildhall School in London. Cole masters both harpsichord, fortepiano as well as modern piano, and performs frequently as a soloist as well as chamber musician together with leading artists such as violinist Kati Debretzeni and cellist Sebastian Comberti (Trio Goya), cellist Steven Isserlis, violinist Catherine Mackintosh, Counter-tenor Michael Chance, soprano Nancy Argenta and others. Mozarts 3. violin concerto is one of the more popular and cheerful ones. It is performed by Fredrik From, who is concertmaster of Concerto Copenhagen. From is a sought-after soloist with some acclaimed solo recordings such as Bach violin concertos and Brandenburg concertos. Symphony nr. 38, known as 'Prague', is one of Mozart's later symphonies which hold both drama, lyricism and bubbling vivaciousness. It is different in form from most late symphonies in that it only consists of three movements, without the typical Minuet.
